We had picnic after our tennis session at 10.30 am... too bad...ramai plak nak main tennis kat Stevo...kalau tak, the court was ours until 12pm at least... so we decided to hv mini picnic at Weston Park to appreciate the beautiful sunny day...

International Cultural Evening

Late entry.... this event was about few weeks ago...too busy to upload pics 
Went to International Cultural Evening wit my frens... tickets have been bought by Faiz at the end of March...see, how excited we were to go to the event...hahah..but it turned out to be bored towards the end of the first half of the event before the break time...we din even wait for Malaysian performance by MASOC...sorry, i did take some shots on the performance but they turned out to be blurred due to unsuitable camera setting...only pics of me & my frens came out clear & nice..

Girls weekend out to York & Scarborough
|

Finally, we hv sucessfully realized our plan for girls road trip...  Our plan was to go to York Designer's Outlet, then tour the city of York & heading to Scarborough on the next day...but girls are girls...the passion for shopping was something impossible to be stopped.. ..left Sheffield at 10am & reached York Outlet at 11.15am...sepnt time there until 4pm & headed to Scarborough instead of City of York...huhuh...better watched the sunset at this time plus most attraction were almost closing...
Scarborough...watched the sun set, night walked in the town...cant bear the weird looking by the local people there...felt like supermodels walking on the street...maybe they havent seen ppl like us...sooooo damn beautiful in our scarves  ...left Scarborough at 9, finding the nearest services to rest over the night...hving an earlier version of UK map has forced us to drive to a damn far services in A64...what to do...lesson to be learnt : ALWAYS HV THE LATEST MAP IN HAND 
The next day, we toured City of York, beautiful, old city...the most satisfying moment was when we finally found the shortest street in the world....hahha ...hv a look in guiness world record book for confirmation..
Our next destination was Lakeside Outlet in Doncaster...damned hard to find...with hard works, we finally got there....
Thanks to my girls, Ima & Seri... plan our next trip in summer!...we will hv 4 ppl this time...(Aida)..NS blooded girls

Early Spring at Weston Park

Its spring...flowers bloom..i m not professional enough to capture the beauty of the flowers but just want to hv memory of spring..seeing those flowers reminds me of sakura...how i wish to go to Japan to hold it for real...sakura seems very special to me...i hv no idea why...maybe because of those scenes in japanese dramas i used to watch....

Warwick Games

It was the final Malaysian Games for year 2005..heard that it wud be the battle of all the champions in Netball, Football & Mixed Volleyball..but all i saw were same netball teams, same players.. no new teams at all..well, not as expected & very few teams this time & Notts Games still the biggest..Sheffield was the first team to register..Aida & me quickly grabbed the chance to explore University of Warwick...quite cold compared to Sheffield..weather was quite gloomy whole yesterday..dunno where the sun has hidden...still wondering cause it has been very sunny in Sheffield recently..
As expected, our netball enemy, Leeds was again there..this time they "belasah" us badly.. they must still coudnt accept the fact they lost to us in Sheffield Games..haha..too bad we met them in the first round...plus most of our players were not in good health yesterday.. well they've done their very best anyway.. Wateva, Notts was still the best..they've won 1st place for all Msian Games held this year..shud be awarded the coolest team too since they acted very nice, no rough incidents with other teams...well that's how we shud define "THE BEST" ...
Congrats to Sheffield Netball Team, Mixed Volleyball Team(Champion) & Norwich (AC Milan of Warwick Games.. )

End of winter...

It has been snowing this whole week...the snow was really thick at the backyard..rushed to hv shower so that i can hv more pics... Wished i could join others to play snowball & built snowman but i m afraid of getting flu & fever as i still hv lectures tmrw...hopefully it will still snowing Friday nite so that i can enjoy the whitey snow on Saturday morning...

Nani has requested me to take pics of my 'so called' classroom..& here they are..pics of room D10.. 2nd classroom of mine..used to hv lectures in Lecture Theatre 7 but this semester, i will hv a lot of class at D10...Stayed back at the uni until 8.30pm to do some work at St Georges cafe... Have some shots too... & when i walked outside, it was snowing heavily...again, snapped some more pics...

Lunch at Harcourt Road

Havent update my fotopages quite sometime...was idle in imaging world since i came back from Spain as i had exams on the 18&19th of January..plus i went nowhere other than Sheffield..
Well, i have an entry for today...went to Harcourt Road to fulfil Julian's invitation for a lunch at his place..He's an excellent chef from Nigeria...really enjoyed his roasted chicken with a really spicy home made sauce...miss having really hot cili padi dishes... but julian's sauce was damn spicy..
